The Foreign Office (FO) on Wednesday said that a huge number of Sikh pioneers have touched base in Pakistan for Baba Guru Nanak's 549th birth commemoration festivities, set to begin in Nankana Sahib.
This year, Guru Nanak's introduction to the world commemoration corresponds with Eid-I-Miladun Nabi — the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) — being praised all through the nation today.
Remote Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal respected the Sikh aficionados to Pakistan, taking note of that the inundation incorporates 3,500 explorers from India alone.
The FO representative stressed that Pakistan is a "dynamic, moderate Islamic state [where] we gladly pursue the Islamic standards, which shown regard for all religions route before the human rights contract appeared".
The festivals of Baba Guru Nanak's birthday will proceed till Nov 30.
Consistently, Sikh lovers from everywhere throughout the world accumulate at Gurdwara Punja Sahib in Hassanabdal to observe Baba Guru Nanak's introduction to the world commemoration.
The festivals keep going for over seven days, amid which hallowed customs are performed at the Gurdwara and desserts and langar (free suppers) are offered, independent of religious introduction.
